Meet Courtney Citko

Courtney Citko is a dedicated community leader and business advocate with a deep-rooted connection to the Sea Cliff community. As the Community Liaison for the Gold Coast Business Association, she is passionate about fostering a thriving local business environment.

With a diverse professional background spanning entrepreneurship, sales, education, and special events, Courtney brings a unique perspective to her current role as Business Liaison to the Village of Sea Cliff. Her past experience as the founder and owner of A Taste of Long Island, where she supported startup food producers and craft breweries, has equipped her with a keen understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing small businesses. Growing up in an entrepreneurial family, the spark was lit when she first started working in her family’s video rental stores at age eight, and the flame has never faltered.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Courtney is actively involved in various community organizations. Currently, she serves as the Vice President of the Coalition to Save Hempstead Harbor and Co-President of the Sea Cliff School PCA. Her commitment to the community extends to her involvement in countless district-wide and building-wide committees for North Shore Schools and her support of the North Shore PAL Girls Lacrosse program.

As a grateful resident of Sea Cliff, Courtney has a deep appreciation for the North Shore area. She is happily married to her husband who is a 30+ year member and past chief of the Sea Cliff Fire Department, together they have a daughter and son who attend North Shore Schools along with her two stepsons who are past graduates, the kids following in their dad’s legacy marking four generations of Sea Cliff residents. With a strong belief in the positive impact of small businesses on local communities, Courtney is dedicated to fostering connections, aligning goals, and strengthening the North Shore community as a whole.
