Presidents Message
Dear GCBA Members
February is the month of connection, relationships, and passion — and a perfect time to reconnect with why we do what we do.
Strong businesses grow the same way strong relationships do: with trust, care, and showing up for one another — especially during the colder, slower seasons. Winter on the Gold Coast can be tough, and February feels like the right moment to fall back in love with our businesses.
For me, that love shows up every day at Better Water. Water is often taken for granted — until I get to show someone the difference filtered water makes, or walk them through the results of a water test. That moment when it clicks for a customer, knowing my work is making a real impact on their health and home, is what keeps me energized and proud of what I do.
At our January meeting, Jillian O’Day reminded us that we have valuable — and often underused — social media benefits available to our members. Let’s put those to work this February by sharing a little love.
I invite you to send us a short “love story” about your business:
• A photo of you at work, your storefront, or your logo
• A few sentences about what you love most about what you do
We’ll share it on GCBA’s social media platforms to help spotlight your business and strengthen connections within our community.
To participate, use the link below to share your photo and a short love story about your business.
And as we push through winter, brighter days are ahead. Business in Bloom is coming on March 26 — save the date.
Let’s use February to strengthen relationships, fuel our passion, and continue growing — together.
Warmly,
Jeannie Riccardo
